The Artist

I absolutely love photography, I always have. I still remember the day I knew I wanted to be a photographer, it was the morning after a big snowfall, everything was blanketed with beautiful white powder. At the age of 15, I walked outside to take some pictures, and it hit me! From that moment on I couldn't get enough, I instantly became 'snap happy'!

I did commercial photography for a company I worked for, and enjoyed that for over 10 years! I branched out into stock photography and polished my skills up a bit.

Then, I was asked by my beautiful sister to photograph her wedding! What a privilege that was! I was so happy and felt so honored that she asked me to do that for her! I had so much fun that day. I felt such a rush the entire time I was taking pictures. After that wedding, several years ago now, I had such a burning desire to become a portrait photographer it was all I could think about! I threw myself into it even more.

Now I do it full time, I don't consider it work, however, it's way too much fun to be work! With each new client I meet, and each picture I am privileged to take I still can't get enough! I have had the honor of meeting some really special people. Not to mention how thrilling it is that I have been asked to be a part of so many special events. I don't think I would be happy do anything else, ever!
